Jack Inglis Aged Care Home is an aged care home, and are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in Motueka, Tasman to manage our debtors and creditors, provide essential general administrative support, and be the welcoming face of our company at reception.

What you'll be doing:
Financial Administration:
-Managing accounts receivable (debtors): invoicing, chasing outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records.
-Managing accounts payable (creditors): processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, reconciling statements.
-Assisting with basic financial reporting and data entry.
-Maintaining organized financial documentation.
General Administration:
-Providing comprehensive administrative support to the team.
-Managing and organizing office supplies and equipment.
-Maintaining filing systems (both physical and electronic).
-Assisting with the preparation of documents, presentations, and reports.
-Managing mail and courier services.
-Organizing meetings and appointments.
Reception Duties:
-Being the first point of contact for visitors and clients, both in person and via phone.
-Answering and directing phone calls professionally and efficiently.
-Taking and relaying messages accurately.
-Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
-Providing excellent customer service and assistance.
-Managing meeting room bookings.
What we're looking for:
-Proven experience in managing debtors and creditors.
-Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
-Strong general administrative and organizational skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-A professional and friendly telephone manner.
-Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work independently.
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
-A proactive and positive attitude.
-Experience with Xero, IMS Payroll, and VCare would be a advantage.
-A commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

What you'll be doing:
Providing compassionate and high-quality personal care to our residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Observing and documenting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being, and communicating any changes to the nursing team
Assisting with meal preparation and serving, and ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met
Engaging residents in social activities and recreational programs to promote their overall well-being
Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for our residents
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for:
Level 3 & Level 4 Caregivers Only!
A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and a commitment to providing excellent care
Relevant experience in a caregiving or healthcare role, preferably in an aged care or hospital setting
Strong English Skills and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with residents and their families
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to your work
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from nursing staff

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced cook to join our team on a casual, on-call basis.
If you have a love for cooking and baking, and enjoy interacting with elderly residents, then this is a perfect opportunity for you.
The role involves working a within a set roster with the hours being from:
7am to 5:30pm and we are a Monday to Sunday kitchen.
Mostly we will know in advance of our need for cover, but sometimes it will be short notice due to sickness etc, so if you can cook and can be available on short-medium notice, then you might be a perfect fit.
You will need to prepare delicious and nutritious meals for 70+ residents, as well as baking and other kitchen duties.
You'll have the chance to work alongside a supportive team in a great environment, making a real difference to the lives of our residents.
